Drs. David & Agnes Palmer JA Titan Competition

High school students run a simulated company in a business strategy competition. Students compete locally and advance to the regional event where scholarships are available.
The JA Titan program is an online educational business model that teaches students about the real economic choices today's corporate leaders face every day. Price, production, marketing, capital investment, and research and development are some of the basic economic concepts the students must know and be ready to use as a basis for their business decisions. Teams of four students plus their mentors compete in a series of simulated business quarters and cycles. Like the CEOs of today's business world, the students are judged by their performance and the business decisions they make.
"It helped me develop better leadership qualitites and brought me closer to the people I was working with. It was an intense and competitive experience."
