JA In-School Programs
Junior Achievement in-school programs are offered at all grade levels, K-12. Classes are taught by adult volunteers from the community who are willing to share their experiences with area students. In these programs, youth learn the realities of the economic world. The programs teach them about the individual roles they play as citizens, consumers, and workers and the importance of community and government. Students become aware of the skills they will need to be workforce ready, and see the value of staying in school. Most importantly, students relate economic concepts and business principles to real-life situations.
