How is JA Funded?

Junior Achievement is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Corporations, industry, small business, foundations, individuals, and other personal donations provide funding for JA programs. JA is not a United Way agency and receives very little government funding. Special event fundraisers such as the JA Bowl-A-Thon and the JA Golf Classic also help support JA program costs.

Your contribution to Junior Achievement will ensure that students learn the importance of business and economics. Several opportunities for giving exist - JA Staff can work with you to determine the best way for you or your company to contribute to the economic education of our youth.

For more information on making a contribution to Junior Achievement, email Barbara VenHorst, President, at barbara.venhorst@ja.org
